As I prepare for HYROX Chiba, I decided I want every kilometer I run to mean something beyond my own personal goal.

From today through race day, I’ll be tracking my runs with Charity Miles so that every kilometer contributes toward donations to Save The Children, an organization dedicated to helping children around the world survive, learn, and grow. I truly believe that childhood lays the foundation for the adults we become.

HYROX is going to challenge me physically and mentally, but I also want this journey to create a positive impact for others along the way.

I’ve also started this fundraiser to help raise additional support for the charity. Whether it’s a donation, encouragement, or simply sharing this page, every bit of support truly means a lot. ランニングが得意でもないのに勢いで申し込んだHYROX千葉シングルレースに向けて、単なる個人的な目標達成以上の意味を持たせることにしました！

今日からレース当日まで、Charity Milesというアプリを使ってランニング距離を記録し、そのすべてのキロ数を、世界中の子どもたちの「生きること・学ぶこと・成長すること」を支援するセーブ・ザ・チルドレンへの寄付につなげていきます。子ども時代こそが、その後の長い人生を形づくる土台になるので、どの子にもすくすく育ってほしいです。

HYROXは、私にとって身体的にも精神的にも大きな挑戦になります。と同時に、この挑戦を通して、誰かにとって少しでも前向きな力を生み出せたらと思っています。
