Hi, my name is Esmeralda and I am a current third year Psychology and Education major at UCR. My unit was severely impacted by the apartment fire on Iowa and I have lost everything I own. I had lived there for the past 2 years so I had all my belongings there. I lost my entire wardrobe, shoes, school supplies, bedding, hygiene products, and my cherished sentimental items. Fortunately, my family is able to provide me with temporary housing while I figure everything out. It is currently finals week at school and I would greatly appreciate any help I can receive.

Many kind individuals have been reaching out asking for a way to support me during this difficult time which is why I decided to create this GoFundMe. I am extremely grateful for my UCR and Riverside community and their willingness to support myself and neighbors impacted by this tragedy.
